The course involves a comprehensive exploration of physical and vocal concepts, acting methods, theatre vocabulary, and professionalism, along with self-exploration and development of the imagination. This class requires physical activity, group/solo exercises, and most importantly, an open mind with a willingness to play. This year’s production will be a comedy, performed in late February/early March.
PLEASE NOTE: Extra rehearsal days will be required outside of scheduled class times, possibly including one to two Saturdays a month, plus added evening rehearsals. Students must be available for all rehearsals unless other arrangements have been made. A specific rehearsal and performance schedule will be available in the early fall.
